Job summary

NV5 in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Senior Traffic Engineer to lead traffic services projects, including traffic studies, signal timing, ITS, and safety analyses. You will manage assignments from proposal through delivery and collaborate with clients to ensure high-quality results.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, PE license, and strong writing skills; PTOE/AICP a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology.
• Minimum of 10 years of directly related professional work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• PTOE and/or AICP credential a plus.
• Excellent writing skills and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients from project startup to completion.
• Complete or oversee projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.
• Prepare proposals and contracts.
• Meet with clients and maintain positive relationships.
• Represent NV5 at professional functions.
