Job summary

Atcs, P.L.C is looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join their team in Glen Allen, VA. This role is hybrid with four days onsite. Responsibilities include leading transportation planning studies and delivering traffic operations analyses.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of relevant experience in traffic engineering.
• Ability to perform roadway intersection and corridor transportation planning studies from start to finish.
• Experience managing technical teams and meeting study milestones.

Responsibilities

• Perform transportation planning studies including traffic forecasting and documentation for grants.
• Deliver analyses to support traffic engineering and design projects.
• Communicate technical information during multi-agency meetings.

Skills

Traffic operations modeling and simulation tools (HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic, Vissim, SIDRA)

Knowledge of Highway Capacity Manual (HCM)

Knowledge of Highway Safety Manual (HSM)

Budget and schedule management

Client representation

Education
