Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 4-8 years of transportation/roadway design experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Experience producing final design plans, specs, and estimates.
• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs process design of multi-discipline transportation engineering projects, evaluating alternatives and performing design calculations.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards.
• Develops contract plans and prepares technical specifications and cost estimates.
• Assists with project execution including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of engineers, designers, and technicians on projects.
• Perform quality control on design work products including calculations, models, drawings, reports and estimates.
• Assist with marketing and business development efforts.
• Communicate with clients, discipline leads, sub consultants, regulators and utilities.
