Job summary

Accede LLC in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to lead traffic forecasting, operations, safety and capacity analyses for transportation projects.

You will design signal, roadway lighting, and signage; develop plans with AutoCAD/Civil 3D; manage projects with clients and agencies; require 7+ years and Indiana PE or eligiblity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Traffic Engineering experience including forecasting, operations, safety, and capacity analysis.
• PE license in Indiana or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
• Strong experience in Traffic Signal Design, Roadway Lighting Design, and Signage Design.
• Proficiency with traffic engineering software (Synchro, SimTraffic); knowledge of HCS and SIDRA is helpful.
• Experience on INDOT, DOT, Federal Aid, or Local Agency transportation projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer with expertise in traffic engineering, traffic signal design, roadway lighting, and signage design. The ideal candidate will support transportation projects from planning through design while working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform traffic forecasting, operations, safety, and capacity analysis.
• Prepare traffic signal, roadway lighting, and signage designs.
• Conduct traffic studies and engineering analysis using Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, and/or SIDRA.
• Develop plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• Manage transportation projects and coordinate with clients and agencies.
• Work on INDOT, DOT, Federal Aid, or Local Agency projects.
