Responsibilities

• Manage logs and clear displaced spots using station parameters in rate and priorities, coordinating with Promotions and Community Affairs.
• Separate competing advertisers and products for a professional on-air look.
• Monitor local and Network program grids to keep schedules up to date and revise formats as needed.
• Communicate directly with Account Executives and Sales Managers when needed.
• Download broadcast logs/files to Master Control and other departments.
• Coordinate same-day changes with Master Control.
• Provide vacation relief to Traffic Team members.
• Assist with weekly and monthly client billing reports.
• Prepare client cash-in-advance reports daily.

Job Title: Senior Traffic Coordinator - WSB TV

Position Overview

WSB TV Atlanta is looking for an experienced Senior Traffic Coordinator or an outgoing self-starter to work in our Traffic department. This candidate can work effectively with all the departments at our television station and be flexible in an ever-changing environment. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail, knows how to build successful relationships, can take direction as well as work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to manage logs, clearing displaced spots using the stations parameters on rate and priorities. In addition, able to work with our Promotions and Community Affairs departments to fill logs.
• Responsible for separating competing advertisers and products for a professional on-air look.
• Able to monitor both local and Network program grids to ensure program schedules are up to date and the ability to read program formats and revise when necessary.
• Communicate directly with the Account Executives Sales Managers when needed.
• Download the broadcast logs/files to Master Control and appropriate departments in the building.
• Communicate directly with Master Control on any "same day" changes
• Able to provide vacation relief to other Traffic Team members.
• Assist with weekly and monthly client billing reports.
• Prepare client cash in advance reports daily.
