Job summary

Dickerson & Bowen Company in Mississippi is seeking a Traffic Control Superintendent to design, lead, and optimize our traffic control program on grand-scale roadway projects. You will supervise crews, ensure safety, and align plans with project schedules, standards, and client requirements for efficient, compliant delivery.

You will build scalable processes, manage risk, coordinate with project managers, safety, and public agencies, and drive continuous improvement in work-zone operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Five or more years of progressive traffic control or work zone experience.
• Leadership of field crews or supervisors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish, and continuously improve the traffic control department, operating model, and service standards.
• Develop SOPs, field expectations, inspection protocols, training requirements, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate traffic control plans with project managers, safety personnel, and law enforcement.
• Lead and coach Traffic Control Technicians, Leads, and Foremen; ensure safety and performance.
