Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems Monroe is seeking a Traffic Control Superintendent to direct daily field operations and supervise crews while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role involves hands-on traffic control tasks, coordination with dispatch, and managing project timelines on roadwork sites.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in traffic safety, a TCS certification, and a valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a flagger certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of traffic safety experience, including fieldwork and training.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory/management role in traffic control operations.
• TCS Certification, valid Driver's License, ability to pass Flaggers Certification, Defensive Driving Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of traffic control crews and ensure timely project execution.
• Supervise safety, training, production, scheduling, and paperwork.
• Perform traffic control operations on-site as needed.
• Conduct job-site inspections to ensure compliance with MUTCD and regulations.
• Oversee field inventory, equipment counts, and yard organization.
• Coordinate with dispatch, customers, and field personnel.
