Job summary
RS&H in Raleigh, NC is seeking a seasoned Traffic Control Engineer to lead maintenance of traffic, pavement marking and signing projects within our Transportation practice. You will advise clients and staff, prepare technical documents, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to business development while mentoring junior staff and supporting quality control initiatives.
The role requires applying sound engineering principles and risk analysis to develop effective traffic control strategies
Qualifications
- Must have at least a PE license and an accredited civil engineering degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in traffic control engineering.
- Experience with traffic control design, pavement markings, and signing.
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance of traffic and signing projects for clients.
- Prepare technical documents, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
- Coordinate with clients and staff; support business development and marketing.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality control processes.
