True North Consultants, Inc. in Connecticut seeks an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join and expand its traffic, transportation, civil/site, and infrastructure capabilities.

This is a highly visible, client-facing opportunity for an engineer who combines strong technical capabilities with the ability to manage projects, coordinate with public agencies, mentor engineering staff, and represent the firm with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer license preferred; EIT near PE considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee traffic engineering studies, traffic impact analyses, and intersection evaluations.
• Coordinate with CTDOT, municipalities, transportation agencies, developers, and public stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams on transportation, roadway, traffic, site/civil, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review construction_cost estimates and engineering plans; ensure compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior staff and review plans, specifications, calculations, and reports.
