Job summary

Block is seeking a Senior Trade & Industry Events Manager in San Francisco to lead Square's trade show activations and industry engagements. You will own end-to-end program management, from booth design to on-site staffing, to drive qualified leads and strong brand experiences.

You will collaborate with sales, creative, and product teams, manage budgets up to $1M per event, and travel up to 25% to top industry shows across retail and F&B sectors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in trade show management, event marketing, or experiential marketing.
• Proven track record of large-scale trade show programs.
• Strong project management with multiple events on concurrent timelines.
• Experience generating and tracking qualified leads.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Tier 1 trade show activations, including booth design and on-site logistics.
• Develop and execute annual trade show strategy, including budget management, ROI tracking, and future investments.
• Negotiate strategic experiential sponsorships with industry partners.
• Identify new event opportunities to expand presence in key verticals.
• Collaborate with sales to implement lead capture and follow-up processes.
• Coordinate with creative, product, sales, and partnerships teams for compelling experiences.
• Manage vendor relationships with agencies, warehousing, booth fabricators, AV, and contractors.
• Oversee inventory management, shipping, booth assets, and vendor contacts.
• Travel to key trade shows up to 25%.
