Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Midlevel to Senior Trade Secrets & Non-Compete Litigator for its Los Angeles office. The attorney will handle complex disputes, including expedited discovery, computer forensics, and injunctive relief, while collaborating across teams.

The ideal candidate has active CA State Bar status and at least three years in trade secret litigation, with strong writing and advocacy skills. Excellent opportunity in a sophisticated, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar membership required.
• Minimum of 3 years in trade secret litigation.
• Experience litigating restrictive covenant and trade secret disputes.
• Experience pursuing or defending emergency injunctive relief.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Litigate complex trade secret and restrictive covenant matters in state and federal court.
• Draft temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, complaints, and other pleadings.
• Prepare motions for injunctive relief and expedited discovery.
• Draft and respond to written discovery and initial pleadings.
• Manage e-discovery matters and issues involving computer forensics.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions.
• Develop case strategies in partnership with attorneys across the firm.
• Communicate with clients regarding case developments, strategy, and risk.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
