Job summary

Referment seeks a Senior Associate for its global middle-office function. You will be the primary contact for trading-desk questions and ensure post-trade activity is reliable, controlled, and transparent. You will also enhance workflows, data, and monitoring to support new strategies and asset classes.

The role involves coordinating with trading, technology, and operations teams to resolve issues, strengthen processes, and improve data quality, controls, and oversight of trading activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of relevant financial-operations or trade-support experience.
• Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, P&L, security-master data and settlement.
• Experience handling front-office enquiries and coordinating internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational problems.
• Ability to design or contribute to dashboards and analytics that provide useful operational insight.
• Clear communication, strong organisation and close attention to detail, with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary contact for trading-desk enquiries and coordinate post-trade operations across asset classes and strategies.
• Work with trading, technology and operations teams to resolve issues and strengthen processes, controls and data quality.
• Develop workflows, dashboards and tools that improve oversight of trading activity, operational efficiency and continuity of knowledge.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks across the trade lifecycle.
• Contribute to projects that expand middle-office capabilities for new investment strategies or asset classes.
