AIG is seeking a Senior Trade Finance Underwriter to join our team in the United States. You will lead credit analysis, assess risk across trade cycles, and prepare quotations and credit memoranda for internal stakeholders.

The role involves liaising with risk, legal, and finance teams to structure and underwrite complex trade transactions. You will own the end-to-end underwriting process, support product development, and engage with banks, brokers, and clients to deliver tailored funding

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or higher degree in finance or accounting.
• Proven ability to distill accounts, financial and written information.
• Transactional experience in trade finance deals including a broad spectrum of trade products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Perform credit analysis and recommend/approve credit limits and terms.
• Analyze trade lifecycle and working capital needs in relation to buyer/seller risk.
• Prepare insurance quotations and credit memoranda for internal stakeholders.
• Lead transactional due diligence and underwriting from origination to execution.
• Escalate issues clearly to managers and coordinate with legal on documentation.
