Job summary

Koch Companies, through its Aerospace & Defense Solutions (ADS) division, seeks a Sr. Analyst in Trade and Customs to support U.S./Canada import/export operations focused on aerospace, defense, and regulated goods.

You'll partner with brokers, finance, engineering, and legal to ensure compliant shipments and efficient processes. Responsibilities include HTS/ECCN classification, origin, valuation, Incoterms, and post-entry activities, with a focus on audit readiness and continuous process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3+ years of trade compliance, customs, or import/export experience in a multinational or regulated environment.
• Experience with customs brokers, entry reviews, post-entry activities, and import/export compliance.
• Knowledge of HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, country of origin, valuation, Incoterms, FTAs, ADD/CVD, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, recordkeeping, tariff applicability, and regulated shipment processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to documentation and detail.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day U.S. and Canadian import/export operations with brokers and internal teams.
• Review transactions for HTS, ECCN/Schedule B, origin, valuation, Incoterms, and PGA requirements.
• Assist customs clearance for aerospace, defense, and regulated shipments; escalate high-risk issues.
• Support post-entry activities: audits, protests, CF 28/29 responses, and government reviews.
• Maintain and improve trade compliance procedures, SOPs, and recordkeeping.
