Job summary

KPMG LLP in Dallas is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Trade and Customs practice. You will provide advice on import/export matters, conduct research on U.S. and international trade, and help develop strategies for trade savings.

The role supports multiple client engagements, develops junior staff, and requires travel domestically and internationally. Strong communication and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of import/export experience in trade and customs.
• Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, or MST; professional tax certifications preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Access, Excel.
• Demonstrated project management with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to clients on import and export matters.
• Research U.S. and international import/export trade matters.
• Explore, write, and review international trade advice.
• Formulate ideas and deliver trade savings opportunities.
• Aid in development and training of team members.
• Deliver multiple client engagements on time and within budget; maintain client communications and expectations.
• Uphold integrity and professional standards in the work environment.
