Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of Trade Compliance experience.
• Working knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Proficiency in ECCN classification for technology products, including encryption.
• Proficiency in HTS classification across multiple country tariffs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; able to prioritize demanding requirements.
• Business-oriented, pragmatic approach to challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Determine ECCN classification for technology products and related license determinations.
• Classify hardware, software, technology and services for export, re-export, and in-country transfers.
• Research using Tariff Schedule, CCL, CROSS rulings and vendor data to assign classifications.
• Identify holds and compliance requirements; resolve to meet SLAs.
• Validate and maintain classifications in ERP systems and export records.
• Prepare on-demand reports and SKU lists for Compliance Managers.
• Support end-of-day reconciliations and process improvement initiatives.
• Create SOPs and process flows under guidance from senior staff.
• Provide guidance to peers on product classification and compliance processes.
