Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Senior Trade Compliance Manager for Jurisdiction and Classification to act as SME and lead for JC programs within Teledyne’s Aerospace and Defense group. You will work with engineers as JC classifiers and serve as primary contact for JC determinations, training, and liaison with CITC.

The role reports to the Trade Compliance Senior Manager in Billerica, MA and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong knowledge of export controls, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 7+ years of experience or equivalent combination with engineering/regulatory analysis.
• Experience with ITAR, EAR, OFAC and related export control laws preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze regulations and report to leaders.
• Travel approx. 20% as necessary.
• Experience with SAP, GTS and OCR.

Responsibilities

• Perform second level JC Focal classifications and reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and project management.
• Bridge technical product development with regulatory aspects.
• Supervise JC Focal teams and provide guidance.
• Develop processes for JC item classification and training.
• Draft CITC reviews for Commodity Jurisdiction determinations.
• Monitor regulations and implement updates with internal teams.
• Provide periodic JC metrics and reporting.
