Senior Manager of Trade Compliance

Clemmons, NC (onsite, 5 days a week)

Our products keep pools running smoothly around the world, from pumps and filters to automation, safety systems, and energy solutions. We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Trade Compliance to join our team in Clemmons, NC. This is a leadership role where you’ll oversee global trade compliance programs and ensure our supply chain meets all international trade regulations. If you’re a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of trade laws and experience in global compliance, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and improve our global trade compliance program
• Ensure import/export activities meet U.S. and international laws (EAR, ITAR, OFAC, CBP)
• Oversee product classification, licensing, documentation, and recordkeeping
• Partner with internal teams (legal, logistics, finance, procurement, R&D, etc.)
• Manage relationships with customs brokers and partners
• Lead the Duty Drawback program for North America
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes and update compliance policies
• Handle audits, investigations, and corrective actions when needed
• Build training and awareness programs across the company

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Law, Supply Chain, or related field
• 8+ years of trade compliance experience (at least 3 years in management)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trade laws and regulations
• Proven ability to build or improve compliance programs in a global business
• Experience with ERP and trade compliance systems (SAP GTS, Oracle GTM, etc.)
• Certifications like CUSECO, LCB, CES, or CITP are a plus
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
