Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to lead the development and oversight of export/import processes, ensuring adherence to EAR/ITAR and global customs requirements. The role emphasizes risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous program improvement.

The position requires 10+ years in international trade compliance, 3–5 years in leadership, and strong SAP/GTS capabilities to optimize global logistics while controlling duty costs. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in international trade compliance or global logistics.
• 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Experience in Electronics or Semiconductor industry preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP and GTS.
• Deep understanding of ECCN, EAR, and ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive trade compliance programs.
• Oversee import/export applications, registrations, and customs rulings.
• Manage audits and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead government liaison with customs authorities and agencies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams on trade data.
• Deliver training on trade compliance and related regulations.
• Evaluate tools and processes to improve efficiency and lower costs.
