Job summary

Sanofi US Services in Northborough, MA is seeking a Compliance/Customs Lead to serve as the SME for import/export, transport, and trade compliance. The role ensures logistics and customs operations comply with regulations and company standards.

You will coordinate national and international shipments, resolve complex customs issues, maintain audit readiness, and help drive continuous improvements across the network, partnering with brokers, customers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of global customs fundamentals, including classification, valuation, country of origin, and record-keeping requirements.
• Knowledge of export compliance fundamentals, including ECCNs (Export Control Classification Numbers) and AES (Automated Export System).

Responsibilities

• Logistics operations execution in line with SOPs and WIs.
• Organize national and international transport including temperature-controlled shipments and hazardous goods.
• Serve as the primary technical SME on import/export requirements and ensure compliant documentation.
• Maintain audit readiness and develop a Customs/Trade Compliance guide.
