Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Casual, En Route, Air Traffic Control Instructor-III to join the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK onsite at the FAA CTS team. The role supports air traffic controller training services for the FAA and requires hands-on instruction in simulation labs and classrooms.

The instructor will contribute to Course 50148001 and related training efforts, delivering high-quality training to a diverse group of students in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of 3 years CPC ATCS experience in civilian FAA ARTCC or equivalent facility.
• Candidates must have previously held FAA CPC ATCS or first-level supervisory ATCS.

Responsibilities

• Interface with FAA personnel to ensure training services meet the needs of the local facility and FAA’s mission.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC automation, simulation systems and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills for obtaining radar and/or non-radar simulation lab certifications at FAA facilities.
• Deliver high-quality training in simulation laboratories and classrooms, with a student-focused approach.
