Job summary

217, Inc. is seeking a 2nd to 4th year Illinois Registered Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. You will work alongside licensed plumbers on residential and commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience while building a long-term career in plumbing.

Position offers pay $35 to $45 per hour based on verifiable experience, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement as you develop advanced technical skills.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Registered Illinois Plumbing Apprentice status is required.
• Minimum of 24+ months of verifiable apprentice experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems under supervision.
• Read blueprints and follow building plans to ensure proper plumbing layouts.
• Measure, cut, and assemble pipe and fittings using hand and power tools.
• Help install water heaters, sinks, toilets, and other fixtures.
• Support testing and inspection of plumbing systems for leaks and code compliance.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas on job sites.
• Maintain complete and accurate records.
• Follow all safety and health regulations.
