Job summary

Google's XR Hardware Engineering team seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end supplier management, procurement, and program governance for next‑generation AR hardware. You will define supplier strategies, negotiate high‑impact agreements, and coordinate with hardware engineering and global operations to keep programs on schedule.

You will bring 8+ years in hardware supply chain roles, experience with ODMs and contract manufacturers, and a track record of navigating dynamic markets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 8 years of experience in hardware supply chain management, GSM, TPM, partner management, or procurement in electronics.
• Experience with Asian ODMs, Tier-1 component vendors, and CMs from NPI to mass production.

Responsibilities

• Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.
• Establish a reliable cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource stewardship with measurable improvements.
• Lead a governance structure for executive decision-making and dependency exposure.
• Identify change management opportunities to increase program velocity across multiple teams.
• Define/manage a program portfolio solving high-impact business problems for the product area.
