Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the integration effort across perception, planning, controls, simulation, and vehicle software, unifying the autonomy stack into a single release. You will own strategy, execution, and risk management across hardware, embedded software, and systems integration, coordinating with hardware engineering, PMO, and safety teams to ship on schedule.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical program management experience in complex software integration.
• Strong grounding in software systems and architecture.
• Experience coordinating multi-team integration programs with evolving requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Structured approach to risk and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Own the integration roadmap across perception, planning, controls, simulation, and vehicle software.
• Drive cross-team milestone planning, dependency mapping, and risk tracking.
• Define integration test plans, validation gates, and readiness criteria for on-road deployment.
• Run regular program syncs, milestone reviews, and executive readouts with clear risk/impact narratives.
• Identify integration risks and drive mitigation plans with engineering owners.
• Support release planning with safety, release management, and field operations teams as needed.
• Continuously improve integration processes as the platform and org scale.
• Establish and evolve program management processes for a fast-moving hardware–software program.
