Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, located in Louisville, KY, seeks a Senior Total Productive Maintenance Engineer to lead TPM initiatives on the shop floor. The role partners with NPI/Project teams and plant operations to improve reliability and reduce costs while promoting continuous improvement.

You will build capabilities, develop maintenance strategies, and guide teams through problem solving and data-driven improvements, with on-site responsibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in reliability, engineering, equipment maintenance, or related field.
• Shop floor leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Leadership experience within Appliance manufacturing and familiarity with Manufacturing Equipment.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling, lubrication management, vibration analysis, thermal analysis, root cause failure analysis and FMEA.
• CMRP or CRL certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of AP2 TPM program that supports production goals and objectives.
• Develop and monitor AP2 Maintenance Department Budget.
• Support development of EAM system and EAM reporting for AP2.
• Coordinate TPM learning/training plans with plant Leaders.
• Provide TPM training and promote standardized work to cultivate problem solving and innovation.
• Utilize data to identify downtime and drive improvements.
• Lead Jishuken (learn by doing) activities to solve critical equipment problems.
