Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead Production Engineering programs on the Sparks, NV site. You will own project scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating process, mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing engineers to drive throughput, yield, uptime, and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent evidence of ability.
• 2–6 years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Experience delivering production ramp, capacity expansion, or continuous improvement programs inside an operating plant.
• Ability to read P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specs; able to discuss with engineers.
• Experience with commissioning/qualification for production equipment.
• Familiarity with lean/CI methods; PMP or Green Belt preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and MS Project.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; able to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the program plan for production engineering projects, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive throughput, yield, uptime, and cost-per-unit improvements from definition to handoff to operations.
• Sequence engineering work around production windows with operations and maintenance.
• Run commissioning and qualification paths for new/modified equipment with testing and safety reviews.
• Coordinate across teams to close dependencies and unblock the program.
• Track and report program status, metrics, and dashboards for site/executive reviews.
