Job summary

Amazon’s device organization is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional programs across Echo, Alexa, Fire TV, Kindle, and emerging devices. You’ll define execution strategies, align technical standards, and partner with engineering teams to balance speed with scale, delivering measurable impact for millions of customers.

You will influence priorities, manage risks, and communicate progress clearly while building trust with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cross-functional technical programs from conception through delivery
• Define and drive program strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics
• Coordinate dependencies and unblock delivery across multiple engineering teams
• Identify and escalation risks effectively to drive timely resolution
• Review and influence technical designs and architecture decisions
• Champion AI/ML integration opportunities to automate workflows and enhance developer productivity across the platform
• Drive adoption of technical standards across teams
• Define integration approaches that scale across multiple services
• Create technical implementation plans that balance speed and quality
• Build and maintain relationships with engineering teams and senior leadership
• Drive alignment and resolution of contentious technical issues
• Negotiate resources and priorities across organizational boundaries
• Provide timely and clear updates on program status and risks
