Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional verification and validation initiatives for autonomous software, vehicle platform, and operations. You will drive end-to-end strategy, develop simulation-based test plans, and align execution across engineering teams to meet safety and performance targets.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience leading complex technical programs or engineering initiatives.
• Proficiency with project and issue tracking tools such as JIRA and familiarity with Gantt charting, dependency mapping, and critical path management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, drive, and own end-to-end strategy for cross-functional verification and validation programs from planning through execution and closure.
• Lead coordination to define simulation-based and structured test plans.
• Align validation pipelines and synchronize program execution across managers and engineering leads.
• Manage risk assessments, track issues, drive cross-team resolutions, and escalate when needed.
• Define and track resource requirements, identify critical paths, and maintain milestone visibility.
• Ensure program transparency, identify risks, and drive mitigation to maintain schedule and quality.
• Debrief executives on program-critical topics.
