Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead high priority safety and security programs, coordinating across teams to strengthen how we develop and deploy agents safely and securely, and to bring what we build internally to customers and partners so everyone has the tools to safely and securely use Claude.

Qualifications

• Experience leading company-wide technical programs, including security initiatives.
• Strong background in at least one domain: agent or infrastructure security, ML monitoring, or data protection.
• Experience collaborating with ML research teams and understanding model evaluation.
• Ability to set direction, decide, and scale across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executives and engineers.
• 10+ years in one of the mentioned areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the roadmap for safety and security programs and ensure relevance in a fast tempo.
• Turn goals into measurable exit criteria and maintain key metrics and dashboards.
• Run the operating rhythm: chair meetings, record decisions, and follow up on actions.
• Lead executive and contributor communications and produce decisional documents.
• Maintain the risk register and escalate hard calls to decision makers.
• Drive company-wide communications and coordinate TPMs and engineering managers.
• Take coordination load off technical leaders and align cross-team ownership.
• Track incidents and threats, bringing lessons into threat models and roadmaps.
