Job summary

National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) seeks a Toxicologist/Risk Assessor to support the National Park Service in Denver on ecological risk assessments and CERCLA-related tasks.

The temporary 800-hour role pays $65 per hour with a 16-hour work week, under the Experienced Services Program. Office-based position requiring a background in toxicology and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires MA/MS in Biological sciences or toxicology with 15+ years in ecological risk assessments and related tasks.
• Experience with statistics, sampling design, regulatory frameworks, and EPA risk guidance.
• Proficiency with Windows/Office tools including SharePoint and Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor risk assessment documents for completeness and correctness.
• Provide additional technical support and related services as needed.
• Communicate with EMP Lead and CS Project Managers on availability and progress.
