Job summary

Cleaveland/Price Inc. in Trafford, PA is seeking a Toolmaker with 5+ years of experience to design, fabricate, maintain and improve tooling, dies and fixtures used in high-precision manufacturing.

You will read blueprints, set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes, calibrate gauges, test tools, and ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO standards while contributing to quality and production efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die making or related manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and to design, maintain and build gauges, tools, dies and other manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring devices and related tools.
• Experience operating manual and CNC mills and lathes, surface grinders, punches, and related equipment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures parts for tools, dies, and fixtures per drawings.
• Inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs tooling, dies, and equipment.
• Reads blueprints, designs gauges, tools, dies and fixtures.
• Tests equipment and tools to ensure they meet specifications and adjusts as needed.
• Performs die preventative maintenance and documents results.
• Operates mills, lathes, grinders, drills, punches, and related equipment.
• Maintains safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
