Job summary

Pinewood Tool Corporation is seeking a Senior Toolmaker to own and execute precision tooling projects from blueprint to finished part. You will program, set up, and inspect parts on small-batch runs in a fast-paced, high-mix environment.

The role emphasizes strong GD&T, blueprint reading, MasterCam programming, and close collaboration with a skilled team to deliver tight tolerances with ownership and pride.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of toolroom or short-run CNC machining experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Comfortable programming (Mastercam and at the control).

Responsibilities

• Program using MasterCam and also at the control.
• Perform your own setups on CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Machine small-run parts and tooling from blueprints, working to GD&T.
• Hold tight tolerances and perform in-process quality inspection.
• Use hand grinders and supporting tooling to finish parts to spec.
• Take ownership of your work and stand behind the result.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership of their parts from blueprint to finished piece — programming, setting up your own jobs, and inspecting your work in process.
