HellermannTyton Corporation seeks an AMG Tooling Engineer to optimize high-risk injection molding projects from quote to PPAP. You will research and implement mold tooling for new materials, develop vendor relationships, and collaborate across functions to ensure production readiness while upholding quality and EHS&S standards.

The role requires evaluating mold designs, leading tool development, and mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred; seven+ years of mold manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Experience with plastic injection molding processes and mold materials.
• Ability to travel 2-4 times per year; proficient with Microsoft Office and CAD tools.

Responsabilités

• Develop relationships with tool vendors for mold manufacturing.
• Obtain quotes for mold and related equipment for production.
• Document mold info for team use and project handoffs.
• Lead mold development if awarded; mentor team members.
• Initiate flow analysis to ensure proper mold design for balance and cycle time.
• Collaborate with material/process/quality engineers to optimize systems.
