The role includes sourcing tooling, conducting trials, and managing tooling changes during production. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and proven leadership skills.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP, and JIT.
Strong knowledge of trim line processes and automotive interior components.

Responsibilities

Design jigs, fixtures, and tools for manufacturing processes.
Source tooling from suppliers and manage RFQs.
Conduct tool trials and validate performance.
Develop preventive maintenance plans for tools and dies.
Analyze tooling costs and identify cost reduction opportunities.
