Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a STEM discipline with 8+ years in design for manufacturing; master's with 6+ years.
• Experience in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting from 3D models.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Tool design experience for aerospace/defense programs preferred.
• Experience with AS9100, MIL-STD-1521 tooling, ITAR/FAR compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture functional and performance requirements with internal customers.
• Develop initial tooling concepts and cost-benefit analyses for programs.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models (NX preferred) and 2D drawings with fabrication requirements.
• Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing teams and vendors.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections to verify design conformance.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues to maintain quality and schedule.
• Document design revisions through the Tooling Configuration Control Analyst.
