Job summary

Electro Switch Corp. in Rockland, MA is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role builds, repairs, and maintains dies, molds, fixtures, and assembly tooling used in production.

You will work closely with Engineering to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing needs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Tool & Die experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a proven ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and maintain tight

Qualifications

Specialized training in Tool & Die, Machining or related field.
5+ years of Tool & Die experience in manufacturing.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Build, repair, modify, and maintain dies, molds, fixtures, and tooling used in production.
Construct and troubleshoot progressive, compound, blanking, forming dies, drill jigs, and machining fixtures.
Perform precision machining with close tolerances and quality standards.
Diagnose tooling issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Assist Engineering with prototypes, tooling modifications, and new product introductions.
Conduct tool tryouts and validate tooling performance before release to production.
