NAMIC, a division of Medline, located in Glens Falls, NY, is seeking an experienced machinist to maintain and operate tooling and precision equipment. The role supports production through accurate part fabrication and tooling maintenance, ensuring conformance to specifications.

The position requires 5 years of precision machining experience, the ability to read blueprints, and strong communication in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of precision machining experience
• Able to work in fast-paced shop with frequent communication

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair tooling for production, with proper knowledge of tool/die, timing, and rework techniques
• Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, milling, grinder) to machine parts and verify conformance to specifications
• Study blueprints, sketches, models, or descriptions to determine materials and machines required to fabricate parts
• Maintain and complete production assignments per supervisor within the production schedule
• Report breakdown root causes and equipment faults to management
• Ensure work adheres to high-quality standards and quality regulations
• Clean Injection Molding tools with attention to detail
