Job summary
Caltrans in Sacramento County is seeking a Senior TMS Maintenance Engineer to support district field maintenance for TMS-related systems and to coordinate procurement and asset management activities. This role supervises staff and leads projects to transform TMS into a high-performing, integrated multimodal system.
Candidates must hold a Professional Engineer electrical license and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Professional Engineer, Electrical License.
- Must have a valid driver’s license to operate state vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Support district field maintenance activities related to the Major Maintenance Contract for Delivery (HM4 - TMS related systems).
- Coordinate materials/resources for TMS parts procurement and lead special projects for the Office.
- Supervise professional staff maintaining communications, traffic management and electrical systems for TMS.
