Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of tire development experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and spoken communication, with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform development programs for replacement tire lines and OE customers.
• Develops project plans for new tire projects and analyzes requirements.
• Lead project planning and budgeting for each initiative; align targets with customers.
• Create and issue experimental tire specifications and designs.
• Coordinate with tire manufacturing to build and verify experimental tires.
• Summarize test results and present findings to management and customers.
• Implement development tires and specs into production.
• Participate in industry groups such as Tire & Rim, RMA, SAE, and ASTM.
