You’ll mentor engineers and work across product, data, design, and platform teams to deliver high-impact solutions. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, enjoy creating memorable customer experiences, and embrace AI tools to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building scalable solutions that reduce customer pain.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and testing.
• Ownership of multi-quarter projects with measurable customer impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test Gusto core products across the Time domain.
• Mentor other engineers to solve complex problems at scale.
• Scale a large Ruby/Rails and JavaScript/React application.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Design, and Platform teams to prototype, iterate, and launch daily.
• Build products that customers genuinely love.
