Senior Time Management System Analyst

Location:

The location in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Time Management System Analyst. This job is full-time permanent.

The HRIS department has a mission to maintain and support the Pulp & Paper Payroll, personal and organizational management, and Time entry systems to ensure they are running efficiently and smoothly.

The Senior Time Management System Analyst is to actively participate in the deployment of the corporate workforce management solution (UKG Pro WFM) for the remaining sites of the organization and support the production and evolution of the existing workforce management environment.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  1. Provide the necessary support level to the various workforce management environments to proactively address different issues and requests, including configuration of issues related to working/pay rules as well as internal and external interfaces.
  2. Work with the team to determine and confirm efforts required and develop work plans to support system changes.
  3. Act as a functional team member in formal projects to support the implementation of the solution for a specific site or for the implementation of new functionality or workforce management products that could benefit the entire organization.
  4. Produce specifications using the standard workforce management methodology for configuration requirements in collaboration with our internal and external partners. Configure and implement the proposed specifications and perform the expected level of testing (unit, QA, and support to UAT) that supports the highest levels of conformity and quality standards.
  5. Perform necessary recommendations to improve existing business processes and system integrity while maintaining or improving the overall quality of the information.
  6. Actively promote the solution and become acquainted with future release functionality and emerging technology that could benefit the organization and improve our current solution. Stay current on UKG Pro WFM configuration standards and technologies.
  7. Support and/or mentor other team members, assisting with their career development and providing performance feedback to management. Review work products of other team members as required and lead discussions with external parties (including the business) for requirements gathering and problem-solving.
  8. Follow internal methodologies and processes to provide configuration efforts and the necessary specifications documentation.

  4. Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken. This is required since this function involves recurring interaction with customers, partners, and/or our American subsidiaries.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, information technology, or industrial engineering.
  2. Minimum of 8 years’ experience within an industry and application development.
  3. Workforce management and human capital management knowledge.
  4. Kronos design and configuration skills (Time Keeping, Attendance, Scheduling).
  5. Familiar with Agile delivery methodologies.
  6. Knowledge of a Canadian and US payroll system is an asset.

This position requires, on occasion, availability outside regular business hours and availability to travel when assigned to projects.
