Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years’ experience in welding.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer literacy using Windows.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measurement tools.
• Ability to use various hand tools.
• Physical stamina for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Vision requirements including close and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Follow current Standard Work with excellence and accountability for quality.
• Identify nonconforming conditions and alert supervision for remediation.
• Eliminate waste and identify safety, quality, throughput improvements.
• Train others and execute standard work efficiently.
• Setup and operate TIG welding and related tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized 5S work area.
• Work according to AMETEK procedures and code of conduct.
• Support continuous learning and process improvements.
