Job summary

Textron Systems, part of Textron, seeks skilled welders for its Howe & Howe operations. You will perform MIG/TIG welding on aluminum and other metals in multiple positions, with opportunities to operate cranes, forklifts and power tools. The role requires safe handling and adherence to procedures.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience, with the ability to obtain a security clearance. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Maine.

Qualifications

• Must be able to weld with MIG and TIG.
• Weld aluminum and other metals in all positions.
• Able to work from standing to overhead.
• Eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum and other metal parts in various positions.
• Operate cranes and forklifts as required.
• Inspect welds and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with load/unload of parts and tool handling.
