Job summary

Textron Systems in Waterboro, ME is seeking a Sr. Welder to join the Howe & Howe Technologies team. The role involves MIG welding with TIG preferred, welding aluminum and other metals in all positions, and performing tack and overhead welding as needed.

You will work around vehicles, ladders, and various heavy tools, maintaining safety and quality standards at all times. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of related welding experience, and the ability to obtain a

Qualifications

3 years of related experience.
Demonstrated skills based on the results of the welding test.
Eligible to obtain a security clearance.
Note: Level will be determined based on relevant experience, scope of role, skills, etc

Responsibilities

Weld aluminum and other metals in all positions; MIG welding required, TIG welding preferred.
Work from various postures including standing, sitting, kneeling and lying.
Climb on vehicles and ladders; rig and tack weld as needed.
Operate cranes, forklifts and power tools; ensure safe use with two hands on tools.
Follow safety and quality standards; perform other duties as required.
