Hartzell Aerospace Welding in Minnesota seeks a skilled TIG Welder specializing in aluminum to join our team. You will weld aluminum parts and assemblies to exacting standards with attention to dimensional accuracy.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus an accredited welding course or equivalent on-the-job training; 5–10 years of high-level TIG welding experience is desirable. Safety, documentation, and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder focusing on aluminum welding.
• Completion of an accredited welding course or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Ability to read and follow both verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld aluminum parts, components and assemblies.
• Fabricate and weld customer parts as requested.
• Manage high variety, low volume part work.
• Maintain 90% on-time pass rate through inspection.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety policies and complete required documentation.
• Maintain general shop housekeeping.
