Job summary

Peraton in Beltsville, MD is seeking an experienced Tier 2 Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) Analyst to support the Department of State's DSCM program, delivering critical cyber security expertise for diplomatic missions worldwide.

You will detect, classify, and report incidents; analyze host logs, EDR, firewalls; perform malware analyses; and coordinate with CISA and international CIRTs while monitoring the SOAR platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Incident Response lifecycle.
• Familiarity with SOAR ticketing and automated response systems.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, Elastic).
• Experience with EDR tools (e.g., MDE, CrowdStrike).
• Knowledge of cloud security monitoring and incident response.
