Tenable is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to join a hybrid team bridging Security Response and Decision Science Operations in the Research Special Operations group. Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS/Math/Stats or related field or 5+ years exp.
• 4+ years of programming and scripting (Python/SQL).
• Experience with data analytics tools and BI (Tableau).
• Familiarity with Shodan/Censys and vulnerability concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor threat landscape and real-time high-profile events.
• Lead end-to-end Security Response; coordinate product coverage and PR.
• Create technical content: blogs, advisories, whitepapers, webinars.
• Provide analytical insights to guide investments and actions.
• Build dashboards and workflows to surface threat trends.
