Job summary

Canvas Inc. seeks a senior specialist to provide expert engineering on threat radar systems for test and evaluation environments.

You will develop threat models, scripts, simulations, and hardware-in-the-loop setups to accurately replicate adversary radar capabilities. Responsibilities include integrating radars with range instrumentation and C2 tools, analyzing performance, and guiding modernization strategies for complex test ranges.

Qualifications

• Recognized expert in radar threat systems, EW, signal processing, or sensor emitter integration.
• Able to independently perform complex engineering and modeling tasks for senior leadership.
• Deep understanding of modern threat radar architectures, tracking modes, ECM/EP interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert engineering knowledge on threat radar systems and related algorithms for tests.
• Lead development of radar threat models, simulations, and hardware-in-the-loop configurations.
• Advise on integrating threat radars with range instrumentation and C2 architectures.
• Analyze radar performance, vulnerabilities, ECM/EP interactions, and test scenarios.
• Support reviews, test planning, design evaluations, and strategic modernization recommendations.
