Job summary

Suno, Boston-based, seeks a Senior Staff Threat Intelligence Engineer to lead defense efforts across security, trust & safety, and fraud. You will identify adversaries, exposure, and build defenses for the platform and users.

You will analyze threat data with Python and SQL, translate findings into concrete countermeasures, and collaborate with engineering to implement detection, product, and architectural changes. This role shapes Suno’s security posture as the platform scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in threat intelligence with depth in security, trust & safety, or fraud.
• Strong fundamentals: tracking threat actors, attributing campaigns, OSINT, linking accounts.
• Hands-on data skills: Python and SQL on large datasets.
• Understanding of modern web and cloud architectures; can reason about attacks without shipping production code.
• Proven track record influencing cross-functional teams and turning findings into action.

Responsibilities

• Investigate threat actors and campaigns targeting Suno across security, trust & safety, and fraud.
• Analyze large-scale event and account data with Python and SQL to detect patterns and size threats.
• Translate adversary tactics into concrete countermeasures for detection and product changes.
• Brief leadership with updates and strategic assessments on intelligence findings.
• Set collection, analysis, and tradecraft standards as the function grows.
• Protect Suno’s community to keep making music safe, fun, and open.
