Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned leader to serve as the subject matter expert for third-party supplier risk within Global Procurement Services. You will shape the organization’s approach to supplier risk, build and supervise risk frameworks across onboarding and the supplier lifecycle.

You will conduct vendor risk assessments, tier suppliers by inherent and residual risk, and implement remediation plans. The role requires defining risk-scoring metrics, advising internal teams, and leading

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading third party risk management programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in global roles, prioritizing multiple stakeholders, and influencing diverse audiences at all levels.
• Experience implementing critical initiatives in a sophisticated global environment.
• Ability to use strong judgment and discretion in guiding collaborators on standard methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Ariba, Smart Buy, and SAP risk modules.
• Must reside in the Raleigh or Atlanta areas for consideration.
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• Preferred experience in finance or data analytics.
• Preferred operational improvement experience, such as Agile or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter advisor for third-party supplier risk.
• Shape Global Procurement Services' approach to supplier risk.
• Build, implement, supervise, and assess risk frameworks across supplier onboarding and the supplier lifecycle.
• Conduct vendor risk assessments and tier suppliers by inherent and residual risk.
• Build and implement remediation plans when risks are identified.
• Implement metrics for risk scoring and risk-reduction target setting.
• Advise internal collaborators on risk-aware decisions and risk management methodologies.
• Consult with collaborators on standard third-party risk methodologies.
• Implement and operate the end-to-end supplier risk program.
• Partner with internal collaborators across Global Procurement Services and the enterprise.
• Lead cross-functional teams on projects and major initiatives.
